MARTIN SCORSESE:

“Now more than ever we need to talk to each other, to listen to each other and understand how we see the world, and cinema is the best medium for doing this.”
As a mission-based cinema, Film Streams is committed to presenting new and innovative film opportunities that celebrate the medium while expanding appreciation for it as an art form.

Beginning in 2008, we will offer a variety of educational initiatives for area high school students. Focusing on film literacy and critical thinking, students will learn how to interpret films in a cultural context, empathize with characters in ways beneficial to their own mental and emotional stability, and analyze film as an art form.
