From the Slamdance Film Festival, co-founded in 1995 by Omaha native Dan Mirvish, comes this special roadshow featuring the profoundly funny documentary SUPERHEROES (dir. Mike Barnett), a journey inside the world of everyday citizens who don homemade costumes and elaborate utility belts in the pursuit of justice. They patrol the dark and dangerous streets, seeking out criminals, evildoers and villains, veiled in secret identities… They call themselves Real-Life Superheroes, and they are out to save humanity.
